Personal Insurance
Auto insurance that fits how you actually drive
Whether you commute down Highway 99 to Sacramento, run farm roads around the Sutter Buttes, or just drive the kids to school, your auto policy should match your vehicles, drivers and budget.
Online quotes for home, auto and other personal coverage are prepared through the Bolt quoting platform. Some coverage and carrier options are quoted by phone. Selecting "Start a Personal Lines Quote" takes you to a third-party website that has its own privacy policy and terms. A quote is not a binder or a guarantee of coverage.

What auto insurance can cover
Bodily injury & property damage liability
Pays for injuries and damage you cause to others, up to your limits. California requires minimum liability limits of $30,000 per person, $60,000 per accident and $15,000 for property damage; many drivers choose higher limits for more protection.
Uninsured / underinsured motorist
Helps protect you and your passengers when the at-fault driver has no insurance or not enough of it.
Collision
Covers damage to your own vehicle from a collision, subject to your deductible.
Comprehensive
Covers non-collision losses such as theft, vandalism, fire, falling objects or hitting an animal.
Medical payments
Helps pay medical expenses for you and your passengers after an accident, regardless of fault.
Optional add-ons
Rental reimbursement, roadside assistance and other endorsements are available on many policies.
Things to consider
- State minimum limits may not be enough to cover a serious accident.
- Ask about available discounts, such as multi-policy, good driver or safety features. Eligibility varies by insurer.
- Rideshare and delivery driving usually need an endorsement or separate coverage.
- Keep proof of insurance in the vehicle; California requires it.
This is a general description, not a policy. Coverage, limits and exclusions vary by insurer and are governed by the policy actually issued.
Frequently asked questions
How much auto insurance do I need in California?
The legal minimum is 30/60/15 liability. That is a floor, not a recommendation. We will help you look at your assets and risk so you can choose limits that make sense for you.
Can I bundle auto with my home or renters policy?
Often, yes. Many insurers offer a multi-policy discount. We can quote both at the same time.
Do you insure drivers with tickets or an accident?
We work with several insurers with different underwriting guidelines. Call us and we will see what options are available.
